DAY 1.PAKSE - BOLAVEN PLATEAU (L)
Upon arrival, we will drive to the Bolaven Plateau, famous for its coffee production. During the colonial period, the French encouraged the cultivation of high-quality Arabica and Robusta coffee. Although production declined during the war years, it is now experiencing a revival. The plateau's cooler climate and abundant rainfall make it ideal for coffee cultivation.
You'll have the opportunity to visit coffee and tea plantations and taste the distinct flavors of Lao coffee. This region is rich in ethnic diversity, primarily home to the Laven people. Along the route from Pakse to Paksong, we'll stop at Tad E-Tu Waterfall and then continue to Tad Fane Waterfall, the highest in Champasak Province, and the nearby Tad Yuang Waterfall.
Overnight in Paksong.
