DAY 1. HA NOI ARRIVAL -

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. 

• Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, collect luggage, and meet our guide/driver (look for name sign)
• Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi.
• The rest of the day is free for relaxation or initial exploration of Hanoi.

DAY 2. HA NOI – HOA LU – TAM COC B, L

• Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.

• 8:00 AM: Pick-up from your Hanoi hotel for a day trip to Ninh Binh.

• Explore Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, visiting the temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties.

• Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local Ninh Binh specialties.

• Experience a serene sampan boat ride in Tam Coc ("Halong Bay on land") along the Ngo Dong River, passing limestone karsts and rice paddies.

• Visit Thai Vi Temple, dedicated to historical Vietnamese kings and figures.

• Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

DAY 3. HA NOI CITY TOUR – NIGHT TRAIN TO SA PA B, L

• Breakfast at the hotel.

• 9:00 AM: Tour guide picks you up for a full-day Hanoi exploration.

• Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex (dress modestly: shoulders to knees). See the Mausoleum (closed Mondays, Fridays, and June 15th - August 15th for maintenance - photos and surrounding area still accessible), Presidential Palace, and Stilt House.

• Explore the unique One Pillar Pagoda in its tranquil gardens.

• Explore the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam.

• Enjoy a local lunch at a nearby restaurant.

• Visit Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake (dedicated to General Tran Hung Dao, accessible via Huc Bridge).

• Continue to visit St. Joseph's Cathedral (neo-Gothic church).

• Transfer back to your hotel in Hanoi. Free time for relaxation or dinner (own account).

• 8:00 PM: Driver picks you up for transfer to the train station for the night train to Lao Cai.

• Night train departs around 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM, arriving in Lao Cai around 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM the next morning.

• Overnight on the night train.

DAY 4. SA PA – SILVER WATERFALL – HEAVEN GATE B, L

• Arrive at Lao Cai train station, meet your driver, and transfer to a restaurant for breakfast.

• Begin your half-day tour exploring Sa Pa.

• Enjoy scenic drive uphill with views of Fansipan Mount, rose and chayote farms.

• Stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall.

• Continue to Heaven Gate and Tram Ton Pass (2047m above sea level), the highest mountain pass in Vietnam.

• Enjoy a half-hour walk for breathtaking scenery of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Observe the contrasting weather on different sides of the pass.

• On the way back downhill (7 km), optional photo stops at lush farms in O Quy Ho (vegetables, flowers, fruits, medicinal plants).

• Transfer back to Sapa, drop-off at your hotel or requested location.

• Approximate: 1.5 hours driving / 1 hour walking.

DAY 5. SA PA – FANSIPAN PEAK – HA NOI BY BUS B, L

• Enjoy breakfast and check out of your hotel (luggage can be left at reception).

• 08:00: Meet your guide and driver for a short transfer (approx. 15 minutes) to the O Quy Ho cable car station.

• Enjoy a scenic 20-minute cable car ride to the 3,000m ASL station, with views of Sin Chai valley, Fansipan peak, and Hoang Lien National Park.

• Follow 600 stone steps (approx. 40 minutes) to reach the 3,143m summit of Fansipan.

• Return to Sapa (approx. 1 hour).

• 12:00: Have lunch at a local restaurant.

• Transfer back to your hotel.

• 14:00: A shuttle bus will pick you up from your hotel for the approximately 8-hour journey to Hanoi.

DAY 6. HA NOI – HA LONG BAY B, L, D

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.

• 07:45 – 08:30: Shuttle bus pick-up from your Hanoi hotel for Ha Long Bay. Quick stop at Pearl Village.

• 12:00 - 12:30: Arrive at Halong International Cruise Port office, relax and enjoy tea/coffee while waiting for boat transfer.

• 12:45: Welcome drink, safety briefing, and cabin check-in.

• 13:30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu lunch served while cruising into Bai Tu Long Bay (vegetarian option available).

• 15:00: Arrive at Cap La Island for kayaking through karst landscapes, swimming, and relaxing.

• 17:30: Return to the boat and enjoy a Sunset party at the overnight anchorage.

• 19:00: Sumptuous set-dinner onboard (vegetarian option available).

• 20:30: Free time for Vietnamese puzzle games, board games, squid fishing, or enjoying cocktails and the quiet night on the bay.

What's Included

DAY 7. HA LONG BAY – HA NOI B, L

• 6:00: Start the day with Tai Chi and enjoy the sunrise.

• 6:45 - 7:15: Breakfast served while cruising back to Gia Luan jetty (breakfast time may vary).

• 7:30 - 9:00: Transfer to Cat Ba Island and explore Trung Trang Cave (impressive limestone cave).

• 9:30: Return to the main boat, check out of cabin (luggage outside). Lunch is served. Settle bar bill.

• 10:30 - 11:00: Disembark the cruise and transfer back to Tuan Chau Marina (Block #34). Relax and wait for luggage.

• 11:30 - 12:00: Guests ready at Tuan Chau Marina.

• 15:00: Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 8. HA NOI – FLY TO SIEM REAP B

• Breakfast at your hotel.

• Enjoy free time until your driver picks you up for transfer to Noi Bai Airport.

• Fly from Hanoi to Siem Reap.

• Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy your rest!

• Breakfast at your hotel.

• 08:00 AM: Meet your guide and visit Angkor Thom (12th century):

• South Gate (churning of the ocean of milk statues).

• Bayon Temple (54 towers with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara).

• Phimeanakas, Royal Enclosure, Elephants Terrace, and Terrace of the Leper King.

• Continue to Ta Prohm Temple (featured in Tomb Raider).

• Afternoon: Visit Angkor Wat (World Heritage Site), famous for its beauty and the longest continuous bas-relief depicting Hindu mythology.

• Dinner at a local restaurant (own account).

• Enjoy a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia.

• See a fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools and police stations.

• Have lunch at a local restaurant.

• Transfer back to your hotel to pick up your luggage.
