DAY 1. SIEM REAP ARRIVAL -

Welcome to Siem Reap, Cambodia!

• Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, greeted and picked up by our guide and driver for transfer to the hotel for check in. Standard check in hour is 2:00PM, (Secure early check in subject to book and extra charge will apply)

Lunch at a local restaurant.

• After lunch break, visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century); See the South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara). Continue to visit one of the area’s most beautiful temples, Ta Prohm (mid-12th – early 13th century). Intentionally left partially unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees grow through the towers and corridors offering a ‘jungle atmosphere’ and some of the best ‘tree-in- temple’ photo opportunities at Angkor. 

Dinner at a local restaurant on your own account.

Transfer back to your hotel.

DAY 2. ANGKOR WAT - BANTEAY SREI - FLIGHT TO PHNOM PENH B, L

• Breakfast at your hotel.

• Morning, visit to Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.

Have lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, check out from the hotel, then head to Banteay Srei Temple. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man.

Continue directly to Siem Reap airport for a short flight to Phnom Penh.

Arriving in Phnom Penh, our tour guide welcomes you and transfers to the hotel for check in.

DAY 3. PHNOM PENH CITY TOUR B, L

• Have breakfast at the hotel.

• Today you start your tour to visit Killing Fields "Choeung Ek" 15km southwest of Phnom Penh.

This one is the site of brutal executions of more than 17,000 individuals, most of whom first suffered through interrogations, torture and deprivation in Toul Sleng Prison during Pol Pot regime (From 1975–1979).

Continue, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21 prison). This prison was a high school, and used as a

prison by Pol Pot's security forces and became the largest center for detention and torture during the rule of the Khmer Rouge.

Afternoon, visit Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), a lively outdoor market where you will find

antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs. Then continue to Royal Palace, was constructed in the 19th century when the capital moved from Oudong to Phnom Penh, and has been the home for the Kings of Cambodia since 1866. The palace is a testament to Khmer architectural and aesthetic proficiency so prevalent in their royal and religious monuments. Within the royal palace is the Silver Pagoda, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles.
