By 9:30 AM, you’ll arrive at Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya period. The palace features a beautiful blend of traditional Chinese and European styles, including the stunning Aisawanthipaya Art Pavilion and a collection of Thai, Chinese, and European artifacts amidst lush gardens filled with rare flowers.

At 10:30 AM, you’ll reach Ayutthaya, the ancient city that was Thailand’s capital for over 400 years and a significant center for trade with many European countries. Though much of its former glory has faded, the remaining ruins offer a glimpse into its rich past.

You’ll visit Wat Maha That, which is over 600 years old and once served as the heart of the Ayutthaya community, before being largely destroyed during the Thai-Burmese war.

Next, explore Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the most important temple in Ayutthaya, which was once located within the old Royal Palace grounds. This grand temple served as a model for Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.

At 12:30 PM, you’ll board the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Nonthaburi) for a relaxing cruise with a sumptuous buffet lunch featuring a variety of oriental and western dishes. As you enjoy your meal, take in the scenic views along the River of Kings as the cruise heads towards Nontaburi and then back to Bangkok.

At 3:00 PM, coffee will be served as you continue to enjoy sights along the riverbanks, including the Royal Barges House, Thammasart University, Siriraj Hospital, the Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun, and Wat Kallayanamitr.

By 4:00 PM, you’ll disembark at the River City Shopping Complex Pier and be transferred back to your hotel in an air-conditioned van.
