In the morning, visit the infamous Choeung Ek Killing Fields, located 15 km southwest of the city, a site where over 17,000 individuals were executed during the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979. Next, explore the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), formerly a high school turned prison and torture center. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, stop for photos at the Independence Monument, then tour the magnificent Royal Palace, the residence of Cambodia’s royal family, and the Silver Pagoda, known for its 5,000 silver tiles. Continue to the National Museum, which boasts an impressive collection of Khmer art. End your day at Wat Phnom, the tallest religious structure in the city, built in 1373

Start your overland journey toward Kampong Cham, passing through Cambodia's largest rubber-growing area, where the lush vegetation contrasts beautifully with the red basalt soil. Upon arrival, admire the beautiful French colonial architecture and visit Wat Nokhor, featuring an ancient temple and modern pagoda. Next, head to Kampong Thom, stopping at Phnom Pros and Phnom Srei, known as the “man hill” and “woman hill.” After checking in at your hotel, explore nearby villages and climb 980 steps to the top of Phnom Santuk for a stunning sunset view. Next, visit Ta Prohm, renowned for its unique architecture entwined with nature. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument globally, known for its intricate design and beauty. DAY 7. Siem Reap – Tonle Sap Lake B, L
After breakfast, visit Angkor National Museum at 7:30 AM, dedicated to preserving and presenting Angkorian artifacts and educating visitors about Khmer culture. Next, take a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of Asia's largest lakes, to view floating villages and communities. After the lake excursion, visit Artisan's D'angkor, an art school specializing in traditional crafts. Continue to Wat Thmei, which houses a memorial stupa containing the remains of Khmer Rouge victims. Afterward, enjoy lunch and spend some free time in Siem Reap before your departure flight.
