DAY 2. Phnom Penh to Siem Reap B, L
In the morning, visit the infamous Choeung Ek Killing Fields, located 15 km southwest of the city, a site where over 17,000 individuals were brutally executed, many after enduring torture at Toul Sleng Prison during the Khmer Rouge regime (1975–1979). Next, head to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S21), a former high school turned prison and the largest detention center during that time. After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, take some time for photos at the Independent Monument. Then, visit the grand Royal Palace, the residence of Cambodia’s royal family, built by King Norodom in 1866, and see the Silver Pagoda, which features a floor made of 5,000 silver tiles. Afterward, explore The National Museum, home to a remarkable collection of Khmer art. Your day ends with a visit to Wat Phnom, the tallest religious structure in the city, built in 1373. After the tour, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Start your day by exploring Angkor Thom, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. Discover significant structures such as the Bayon Temple, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Afterward, visit Ta Prohm, renowned for its striking architecture intertwined with nature. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then head to Angkor Wat, the most famous temple complex in the world, known for its intricate design and immense size. In the evening, savor a buffet dinner while enjoying a traditional Khmer dance performance at a local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 4. Siem Reap – Explore Beng Mealea B, L
At 8:00 AM, depart for Koh Ker, located 127 km northeast of Siem Reap, a journey of about 1.5 hours. Koh Ker is a 10th-century temple complex nestled in the jungle, once the capital of the Khmer Empire from AD 928 to AD 944. Upon arrival, explore the site, which features a seven-tiered pyramid temple and other significant structures, including the red sandstone Prasat Krahom. Afterward, return to Siem Reap, stopping at Prasat Neang Khmaw and Prasat Pram. Enjoy lunch near Beng Mealea temple before visiting this overgrown temple, hidden in the jungle for centuries, known for its remarkable beauty. Finally, visit Banteay Srey, often referred to as the "gem" of the Angkor area, celebrated for its stunning pink sandstone carvings. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then visit the Angkor National Museum at 7:30 AM, dedicated to preserving and showcasing artifacts from the Angkor period (9th to 14th century). Following the museum, embark on a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, one of Asia's largest lakes, cruising past floating villages. Afterward, visit Artisan D’angkor, a carving art school, and then proceed to Wat Thmei, which features a memorial stupa honoring victims of the Khmer Rouge. Enjoy lunch, and then we’ll transfer you to the airport for your flight to Sihanoukville. Spend your leisure time relaxing on the beach. Overnight in Sihanoukville.
